Q: What is your service area?
A: We are based in Nashville, TN and build log homes throughout
Tennessee, however, we have spent the past 40 years building log homes in
all 50 states and Canada. No state is too far, no location is too remote.
Q: What size projects do you handle?
A: Great question - We can take on anything. From a tiny home to a giant
cabin lodge - you dream it; we build it.
Q: What building services do you offer?
A: We design, supply and build high quality and affordable log cabin packages,
complete dry-in labor and will work with your general contractor for full turnkey construction.
Q: What different log styles do you offer?
A: We offer four different log styles: Stack Logs, "D" Logs, Swedish Cope Logs, & Round Logs. Learn more here.
Q: How much does it cost to build a turnkey log home?
A: The cost of building a house can fluctuate depending on factors like
square footage, building location, and finish materials; Cozy Log Homes has
various floor plans that fit nearly every budget. Each floor plan can be
completely customized to meet your needs. Final cost ultimately comes
down to your personal style and the selections you choose, the same as a
conventional home. However, most log home owners want more
customization to make the home truly unique and special.
Q: What is the cost per square foot when building with Cozy Log Homes?
A: This is the most common question we get… and the most difficult to
accurately answer. Until we have had the opportunity to meet with you and
determine the scope of the project, no builder could give you an accurate
answer. Many factors affect your cost per square foot, such as the cost
associated with the amenities you choose, the amount of covered porch
area, the community requirements, the topography of your lot, the need for a
water well and/or septic system, the distance of your home from the street,
whether or not you want a pool, sport court, outdoor kitchen, or other
feature… the list goes on and on. We take the time upfront to get to know
you and understand your lifestyle. With this in mind and the budgetary goals
identified, we walk you through the process and will determine all the
components of cost associated with your project. As a rule of thumb, the
cost per square foot can be anywhere from $125 to $175 depending on your
taste!
Q: How long does it take to build a new, custom log home?
A: Your new home will typically be completed within a 6-month time frame
from start to finish.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, we carry general liability (GL) insurance and workers compensation
(workers comp) insurance.
